Robotics & STEM education provider ROBOWIZARDS saw two of its schools – SVKM JV Parekh International School (Mumbai) and Ebenezer International School (Bangalore) qualify the regional competition and move up the ladder to take part in the national level of the World Robot Olympiad (WRO) 2016 to be held in Kolkata on 22nd & 23rd October 2016.

The WRO is a global competition which is being hosted by India this year, providing a platform for students to apply their knowledge of science, engineering, math, and computer programming in an enthralling battle of machines. A large number of schools from different areas took part in the regional event at Mumbai & Bangalore.

This year’s theme “Rap The Scrap” focuses on best recycling practices. Students were required to build LEGO-based robots which could reduce or manage recyclable waste.

Amogh Johari, Rajvir Wadhwa & Mohamed Mishal Mausoom qualified in the Elementary category from Ebenezer International School. Aarav Parikh, Aarin Ambavat & Rutej Talati qualified in the Elementary category from SVKM JV Parekh International School.

ROBOWIZARDS simplifies robotics through its different modules of curriculum and after-school programmes at various schools across India. It was conferred as “Best Robotics Education & Activity Institute” at the Asia Education Summit.
